Healthy Food Choices For Healthy Body & Mind

Eating is not really a cognitive exercise until you experience health adversity then you may want to analyze everything that goes into your mouth. Pretty colors don't always equate to good health but some colors are wonderful for a healthy body. Take beets and carrots for example they give many benifits but are naturally colored. What about a package of cheap red licorice there could be color in this "food" and now your body must deal with it. A little may not hurt but prolonged eating of artificial colors, preservatives and chemicals can bring adverse health. So the thought for the day is to think about everything before it passes your lips and into your mouth.

Ask yourself:

Will this food harm me or benifit me?

May your health be good.
